Chad Lemelle

Dear Central Middle School Community,

It is a true honor and privilege to be selected to serve as the new principal of Central Middle School. I'm incredibly excited to begin this new chapter.

As a native of Eunice, Louisiana, this community is my home. I am the son of the late Clifton “Bro” Lemelle and Josie Parker Lemelle, and I believe deeply in the potential of our local schools. My commitment to education is built on years of experience, starting with my undergraduate degree from Grambling State University in 1996 and advanced degrees, including a Master’s +30 in Educational Leadership, from Southern University.

Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to serving students in this region. My professional path includes teaching at Eunice High School and holding key leadership roles such as Assistant Principal and then Principal at Crowley Middle. I also gained valuable administrative experience in the Acadia Parish School System, where I served as the Head Start Director for 2.5 years. Additionally, I had the privilege of serving as principal of Opelousas Junior High, and most recently, as assistant principal at Eunice High. These diverse experiences have fully prepared me to lead Central Middle School with passion and purpose.

Outside of school, I am an active member of the community. I serve on the Deacon Board at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice. I am a member of the Opelousas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., as well as a life member of the Grambling University National Alumni Association. I am married to Fran Price, and we are blessed with four children, Robbi, Josi, Cayli, and Hali. My focus will be on fostering an environment where every student can achieve enduring success and growth.

I look forward to working with the Central Middle School family.

Regards,

Chad Lemelle
